Ag Partners: Your Lead for Seed
By Ben Zimmerman, Director of Seed & Digital Ag

At Ag Partners Cooperative Inc., we are your partner in production agriculture. Whether we are developing relationships with growers or industry partners, we take pride in conducting business based on our cooperatives’ core values of honesty, integrity and teamwork.

Grower loyalty is an important part of business. Without dedicated commitment from our growers, we would not be the business we are today. To show our appreciation, Ag Partners is committed to rewarding those growers who are loyal to us through our seed loyalty program. As we roll out this program, we believe it is important to understand our intentions behind it. Ag Partners is committed to focusing our resources towards those growers who patronize Ag Partners Cooperative. Promoting loyalty and commitment is our primary objective, but also helping our producers simplify their business by providing more purchasing options and price transparency.

With the merger, we are now a bigger cooperative than we were before, and because of this, we can do these types of programs. Our program has been developed to reward those loyal growers who commit 100% of their seed to Ag Partners. We value our customers loyalty and by pledging 100% of your seed, it shows that you are committed to us and we want to reward you for your loyalty.

As you are looking to select your seed for 2020, it is important to understand the key differences in the various types of seed genetics available to growers in the marketplace. At Ag Partners, we feel we have devoted a lot of time to identifying those key partners that represent the best seed available in the industry.
New genetics are hitting the marketplace annually, and the biggest differentiator is the ability for newer genetics to increase yield late in the growing season. Ear and kernel size have not changed, but what has changed is the ability for these new genetics to provide more consistent kernel set, longer fill period and heavier overall test weight.

At Ag Partners we are committed to helping you grow your business. When working with us, our team is committed to helping you succeed and achieve your goals on-farm and in the marketplace. So, as you sit down and make your seed purchasing decisions this fall, ask your Ag Partners agronomist the right questions to make sure you are getting the latest genetics that provide the most potential for your business.
