Cenex® Hometown Pride Grant For Annual Baileyville Benefit Tournament

Feb 21, 2020

The annual Baileyville Benefit Tournament and Auction in Seneca was recently recognized by Cenex®, the energy brand of CHS, for being a unique source of pride in Kansas. As part of this recognition, the Baileyville Benefit Board will receive a $5,000 grant that will go toward the benefit’s fundraiser for families in need of medical assistance.  Each year, the Baileyville Benefit selects four primary recipients to receive a portion of the funds raised, with a small fund held back to donate throughout the year to other families on an as-needed basis.

This grant was made possible through Cenex’s Hometown Pride grant initiative that encourages Cenex dealers, like Ag Partners, to share stories about what makes their local communities unique. Each year, Ag Partners is eligible to submit numerous applications to receive the Cenex Hometown Pride Initiative grant but is only allowed to receive one grant per year.

On Sunday, March 1, Ag Partners will be presenting the Baileyville Benefit with the $5,000 grant check, provided by Cenex. Event details below:

Event title: Baileyville Benefit Tournament and Auction
Date: Sunday, March 1
Time: 5 p.m.

If you feel there is an event or initiative that you would like to submit for the Cenex Hometown Pride grant, please contact Eric Osterhaus, VP of Energy to learn more.
