Ag Partners Announces Adam Jefferis as VP of Agronomy

SENECA, Kan. – May 12, 2023, Ag Partners Cooperative, Inc., announced Adam Jefferis as the Vice President of Agronomy today. He will be responsible for promoting the Agronomy Division, driving market share and savings, and improving efficiencies.

“We are thrilled to announce that Adam will be joining Ag Partners,” said Jed Miller, Chief Strategy Officer. “We look forward to welcoming him and leveraging his expertise to drive success for our Agronomy Division.”

After graduating from Kansas State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy, Adam spent the first ten years of his career in ag retail, farm management consulting and cooperative management. During that time, he gained experience supporting the entire ag retail production cycle, including seed sales, fertility recommendations, precision agriculture, seasonal cropping inputs, energy sales and grain handling.

In 2012, Adam moved to the wholesale production sector and has since done business-to-business manufacturing and distribution with the Mosaic Company, Verdesian and HELM Agro. As a technical sales account manager, he supported retailers and sales agronomists in the southwest United States with their performance phosphate and potash portfolios as well as nutrient-use efficiency products. He has launched multiple new products with respective strategies for biostimulants, soil health and plant microbiome technologies for key markets.

“The last 20+ years have been a great base for me; however, it is only the beginning of what the production agriculture community will experience,” said Adam. “My professional experience in these product industries is all connected to the next era of regenerative agriculture we are migrating into. I look forward to continuing that growth Ag Partners”.

Adam resides in Clay Center, KS, with his two children, Maci and Alec. Outside work, he enjoys traveling, golf, saltwater fishing and bird hunting and is usually busy with his kids’ golf, volleyball, rodeo, 4-H and FFA. He will officially join the Ag Partners team on Tuesday, May 16.
