Ag Partners Announces Sale of Joplin Location to Fleet Fuels

Ag Partners Cooperative, Inc. has entered into an agreement for Fleet Fuels to acquire its Joplin, Missouri location with a targeted closing date of August 31, 2026. 

The Joplin location has experienced significant growth since its establishment, supported by strong customer relationships and a dedicated local team. Ag Partners is proud of what has been accomplished and grateful for the support of customers throughout the region.

"Throughout this process, our focus has been on serving our customers, supporting our employees, and ensuring a smooth transition. We are pleased that Fleet Fuels is well-positioned to continue serving the Joplin market and build upon the strong foundation established by our team." 

Fleet Fuels has communicated its intention to offer employment opportunities to the current Joplin employees, and the transition is expected to provide continuity for both customers and staff. 

Customers should continue to receive uninterrupted service throughout the transition. Beginning September 1, 2026, Fleet Fuels is expected to assume ownership and operation of the location. Existing tanks, totes, and related equipment at customer locations will remain in place, and Fleet Fuels intends to continue serving existing customers. 

This transaction is specific to the Joplin location and does not represent a change in Ag Partners' broader commitment to its energy business, customers, or communities served throughout its operating territory.
